Be Aware, Be Watchful, Be Advised in dealing with Expo Guide, ExpoFairs, FairGuide.com, Construct Data Verlag, Tradeconference.info, Fair Express Ltd, GETAFairs & Business, Direct Publisher, International Fairs Directory, GoFair.
It has been brought to our attention that there are some fraudulent companies, contacting our past and previous exhibitors and participants, luring them into “buying” our Attendee List, or requesting data or money, causing a serious threat to the reputation of the legitimate members of the event industry. Their defrauding activities has victimized the companies throughout Europe, the Americas and Asia. For instance, Expo Guide claims to offer online listing services. To trick the exhibitors, they use a bogus form which resembles to an organizer’s free catalogue listing service, inviting them to fill it and access an on-line directory. Unsuspecting exhibitors, who sign and return the form are automatically contracted into three years non-retractable agreement, which could cost them a significant amount of money, with no foreseeable benefits. Included in their group is debt collection agency Gravis Inkasso Gmbh and Swiss debt collection agency Premium Recovery AG (a Construct Data subsidiary) which works in partnership with the various guides to intimidate exhibitors into paying.
We would like to inform you that WE and OUR EVENTS have no connection with these publications. We strongly warn our exhibitors and the entire exhibition community, to be highly watchful and attentive against these cruel hoax and similar scandalous organizations. There are many fake guides who send such misleading contracts just to harass those who sign them in an error for money. Such unethical practices and ways to attack exhibitors is highly disgraceful.
